Ibrahim A. Aljamaan (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in system engineering (instrumentation and control) from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia, in 2005, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering (control systems) from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 2011 and 2016, respectively, Since 2017, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Biomedical Engineering Department, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
His research interests include nonlinear system identification,mathematical modelling, Optimization, Instrumetation, artificial intelligence, and advanced topics in control systems such robotics.Dr. Aljamaan supervised MSc thesis and many Distinctive Senior design projects.His research contribution includes published articles in journals and conferences, patents and research funded funded projects.
He is currently the Vice Dean of Higher Studies,Research and Innovation since 2025.
He was the head of the Environmental Engineering department from 2021 to 2025 and the Vice Dean of Academic Affair at the college of engineering between 2017 and 2019.
Dr. Ibrahim is very active in participating and organizing the community service activities that related to the environment.
