I am delighted to welcome you to the College of Engineering at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU) page.

The College of Engineering has a five-year strategic plan that aims to establish and deliver high quality distinguished programs that reflect excellence and leadership in higher education in the Eastern province and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Our graduates fuel the raising economic and technological development within the Vision 2030.

The program provides a blend of problem solving and project-based curricula to educate a diverse group of students. Our graduates are equipped with strong analytical capabilities, the latest in cutting-edge technologies, and the skills for innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

The College of Engineering at IAU consists of five departments: civil and construction, environmental, biomedical, traffic and transportation and mechanical and energy departments. The first three programs have successfully finished the ABET visit aiming for full accreditations.

The College of Engineering has strong lab facilities and state-of-the-art equipment with highly qualified lab specialists. Besides that, the summer training program facilitates the senior-level student to attend comprehensive training programs in leading industrial companies in the Eastern province for a period of two months.

Besides the educational activities, the college of engineering recorded one of the highest university key performances in a number of research projects and patents with its highly qualified faculty and collaboration with industry.

The College of Engineering launched its first graduate program with MEng in Engineering Management, followed by MEng and MSc of environmental engineering. The college's goal is to establish accredited postgraduate diplomas, master's and doctorate degrees in distinguished market-oriented degrees.

The College of Engineering emphasizes on students' roles and developing their character where the College exerted persistent efforts on non-curriculum activities that made an additional dimension in student development and building their personal skills, self-confidence, independence, participation in decision making and organizing activities, all in the pursuit of developing their leadership skills and preparing them for the job market with a positive attitude.

As the Dean of the college of engineering, I am extremely proud of the students, alumni, faculty, administrative staff, leaders, and thinkers who make up the College of Engineering at IAU.

Finally, I am honored to be part of a team that is devoted to enhancing the College's environment.
