Field Training The field training provides the student with practical experience in designing and implementing training programs for athletes. There, the student learns and applies the basic principles of physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition necessary to improve athletic performance. The student also gains practical experience through field work and with working with athletes to develop customized training plans that take into account individual needs and goals. In addition, the field training provides student with practical skills that she can apply in real-world environments to help athletes achieve their full potential. AdmissionThe student must pass the preparatory year with a cumulative GPA of no less than 3 out of 5. Year description First year The student studies many courses to acquire scientific knowledge for the sports science program, such as biology and chemistry, as well as general courses such as the Arabic language. The first year is the basis to prepare students physically for the following year. Second year The student begins studying public health courses, such as anatomy and the foundations of physiology, as well as sports training courses, such as motor learning, strength, and muscular conditioning. She also acquires multiple skills for different sports through practical courses such as exercises, strength games, swimming, and group exercises (Pilates/breathing exercises/dumbbells, etc.). Third year The student studies advanced courses in the field of health sciences, such as applications of sports physiology, as well as in the field of sports training, such as the sports programs course. She also studies practical sports courses, such as gymnastics and swimming. Fourth year The student studies courses in sports mechanics, applied psychology, and sports injuries, and practical courses such as sports and ball games (e.g., basketball, volleyball, etc.).
