Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God have mercy upon him, and by a decision of the Higher Education Council at its session on 12/1/1418 AH, the College of Education in Jubail (formerly) was inaugurated on 2/12/1419 AH. Coinciding with Vision 2030, the College of Education turned into the College of Science and Humanities in Jubail at the beginning of the academic year 1439/1440 AH and it includes six scientific departments:
- Department of Computer Science: offers a bachelor of science in Computer Science completed in 4 years.
- Department of Physics: offers a bachelor of science in Physics and Renewable Energy completed in 4 years.
- Department of Mathematics: offers a bachelor of science in Mathematics completed in 4 years.
- Department of English: offers a bachelor of science in English Language and Translation completed in 4 years.
- Department of Early Education: offers a bachelor of science in Kindergarten completed in 4 years.
- Department of Sports Science and Physical Activity: It awards a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Sciences and Physical Activity. The duration of study is 4 years.
