Expected Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the business administration program our graduates should be able to: 

First: Knowledge and Understanding

  1. Explain the core concepts, theories, and approaches in business administration, including strategic management, organizational behavior, marketing, finance, human resource management, and management information systems.
  2. Interpret the interrelationships between local and global business environments and the regulatory, legal, and ethical frameworks that influence managerial decisions.
  3. Distinguish between quantitative and qualitative models and methods used in analyzing business problems and making decisions.

Second: Skills

  1. Employ appropriate quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze business data and information and derive conclusions that support managerial decision making.
  2. Apply concepts of strategic, operational, human resource, financial, and marketing management to design practical solutions to business problems in diverse professional contexts.
  3. Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate alternatives and formulate innovative solutions to complex business issues.
  4. Utilize information technologies and digital systems effectively to collect, analyze, and present data in support of managerial decisions.

The Department of Business Administration qualifies its graduates to work in a wide range of positions across the public, private, and non‑profit sectors through its distinguished programs, which include: the Bachelor of Business Administration, the Executive Master of Business Administration, the Master of Business Administration (Coursework with Thesis), the Master of Business Administration (Specialized Coursework Track), and the Master of Science in Business Data Analytics programs (Coursework Track and Thesis Track).

At the Bachelor of Business Administration level, graduates can pursue roles such as business development specialist or executive, human resources coordinator or specialist, supply chain management specialist, projects and operations coordinator, and business analyst in companies and institutions across various sectors.

The MBA programs, with their different tracks, open broader prospects for progression into supervisory and leadership positions, such as administrative manager, business development manager, human resources manager, supply chain management manager, project manager, and business consultant in management consulting firms or as independent experts, with a particular advantage for Executive MBA graduates who possess prior professional experience.
