Ultrasound Lab

It is one of the laboratories of the Radiological Sciences Department. The US device scans the internal organs, the thyroid gland in case it is enlarged, and some arteries. Students learn scientific material as well by using many imaging methods and identifying the parts of the device that produces an image that can be viewed and diagnosed accurately.

Dexa Laboratory

Dual x-ray absorptiometry It is one of the laboratories of the Radiological Sciences Department used for early detection of osteoporosis, and students learn to measure bone density by x-ray.

Radiation Dosimetry Laboratory

It is one of the laboratories of the Radiological Sciences Department. Technicians, specialists, and faculty members where they measure personal radiation doses for those dealing with radiation. Male and female postgraduate students in the department are also trained to take the readings, and the device contributes to approved research work and graduation research projects for male and female postgraduate as well as undergraduate students.

X-ray Laboratory

It is one of the laboratories of the Radiological Sciences Department where students are trained to use an X-ray imaging device for all organs of the body, bones, joints, and soft tissues. Students also train in radiation protection under the supervision of technicians and radiologists.

Radiological Physics Laboratory

It is one of the laboratories of the Radiological Sciences Department, where technicians, specialists, and faculty members conduct simplified experiments for students utilizing scientific devices, such as the low-energy X-ray transmittance experiment device in some solid materials, An MRI physics device that simulates the working of the RF pulses in an MRI machine, A device for measuring blood flow in the upper extremities via an ultrasound device (Doppler).

Simulation Lab

It is one of the laboratories of the Radiological Sciences Department that contains computers where students are trained with the latest programs that simulate radiological imaging equipment, techniques, and programming languages.

Anatomy Laboratory

The anatomy laboratory contains pre-made models of all parts of the body to help the student better understand the internal image of the body and link it to the various radiography images.

CT Laboratory

It is one of the laboratories of the Radiological Sciences Department, where students are trained to use a computerized tomography CT scan that combines data from several X-rays to produce a detailed image of structures inside the body.
