Department Civil and Construction Engineering
Overview
The Civil and Construction Engineering Department initiated a M.Eng. in Engineering Management program to contribute to the national development plan and to meet the new challenges of internal development and globalization, and to respond to the ever-expanding social, environmental and economic demands.
The curriculum offers an interdisciplinary balance between theoretical knowledge, hands-on laboratory training, and research experience. Students gain a deep understanding of engineering and management and develop various technical and managerial skills in project management, decision making, risk management, quality control and financial management, supported by opportunities to apply their learning in real research cases or projects.

Providing accessible education in the theory and application of engineering management that prepares graduates for leadership roles and to assume the responsibilities of professional engineering management while advancing their professional and academic careers.

Support Saudi Vision 2030 by preparing innovative engineering researchers and professionals who are capable of meeting the challenges of sustainability in this competitive age of globalization.

The educational objectives of the Master of Engineering Management program are to:

- Prepare students for successful careers in the engineering management profession.
- Build professional competence, knowledge, and innovation within the engineering industry.

Course loads and success in the program:
- The program consists of six core courses, and six elective courses
- A minimum grade of C+ is required to pass any course.
